A cleaner menu and a new Settings window.

New

  • A new Settings window with a tab for each part of Historr. Every menu section links straight to its tab.
  • Settings now shows whether Accessibility access is on, and the menu reminds you only while it's missing.

Improved

  • The menu bar menu is reorganized into three sections - Clipboard History, Drag Shelf and General - with icons and shortcuts shown the macOS way.
  • Shaking to open a shelf is more sensitive by default - a gentle wiggle is enough. You can change it in Settings → Drag Shelf.

  • Drag Shelf - shake the pointer while dragging and a floating shelf appears. Drop files, folders, images, links or text, then drag the whole pile out to any app in one move.
  • Open a shelf anytime with ⌥⇧D, or by dropping items on the menu bar icon. Keep several shelves open and reopen recent ones.
  • Shelf actions: Quick Look, Share, AirDrop, Save to Folder, Compress to ZIP, Resize Images, and Extract Text from images.
  • Automatic updates - Historr checks for new versions and installs them in one click. Also available under Check for Updates… in the menu.
  • Write a review right from the menu bar - a few days after you start using Historr, it'll also ask how it's going. Reviews you choose to share appear on historr.com.
