Historr keyboard shortcuts

Historr is designed for keyboard-first clipboard history on macOS, with shortcuts for search, paste, preview, undo, and sequential Paste Stack.

Most-used shortcuts

  • ⌥H: open or close clipboard history.
  • ⌥⌘V: paste the next item in the Paste Stack.
  • Return: paste the selected item.
  • ⌘1-9: paste one of the first nine items instantly.
  • Space: preview a clip with Quick Look.
  • ⌘Z: undo a delete or clear action.
  • Esc: close preview, then close the window.

Why keyboard-first matters

Clipboard managers are used during fast, repetitive work. Shortcuts keep the flow moving because you can search, select, preview, and paste without leaving the keyboard.
